GAASCH PACKAGING Recognised as SDG Pioneer for Sustainable Entrepreneurship
GAASCH PACKAGING has officially earned the SDG Pioneer certificate within the Voka Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen (VCDO). This international recognition, linked to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), confirms our commitment to embedding sustainability structurally within our business operations.
On 22 October 2026, GAASCH PACKAGING was recognised at the Voka Dag Duurzaam Ondernemen in Antwerp as one of six new SDG Pioneers from Flemish Brabant. A proud milestone in our sustainability journey and, above all, an incentive to continue building forward-looking packaging solutions.
From Sustainable Ambitions to Concrete Action
For GAASCH PACKAGING, sustainability is more than an ambition. As a distributor of primary glass and plastic packaging, we play an important role between producers and customers. This position gives us the opportunity to support sustainable choices throughout the entire value chain.
Through the Voka Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen, we have further structured our sustainability efforts and linked them to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
Earning the SDG Pioneer certificate confirms that sustainability has found a structural place within our organisation.
Working Together Towards More Sustainable Packaging
The packaging sector faces significant changes. New European legislation, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the rules on environmental claims (EmpCo), presents businesses with new challenges.
At GAASCH PACKAGING, we want not only to inform our customers about these changes, but also to actively guide them in making forward-looking packaging choices.
From material selection and recyclability to packaging optimisation and reuse: we translate complex sustainability challenges into practical solutions.
Sustainable packaging is not something you do alone. Real impact is created when the entire value chain works together and sustainability data is translated into concrete action.

A Recognition and a Commitment to the Future
The SDG Pioneer certificate is not a destination, but an important step in our sustainability story.
We continue to invest in collaboration with suppliers, customers and partners to help reduce the environmental impact of packaging and to further develop circular solutions.
Because sustainable progress is not something we achieve alone. We achieve it together.
